WATCH THE WEATHER REPORTS!

If frost warnings are predicted cover all tender plants and trees including:
Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Lantana, Fall annuals (geraniums petunias, etc), Natal plum, Plumbago, Pigmy dates, Ficus Trees, Orchids, Citrus

If you are unsure of the hardiness of any particular plant call the nursery. Use sheets blankets or frost cloth (available at the nursery) as cover. No Plastic!

PRUNE ROSES

Roses can be severely pruned back in January to ½ their size
Fertilize roses with a systemic rose food to help stave off mildew and black spot in early spring

CUT AND SHAPE DECIDIOUS TREES
Ash, Elm, Chinese pistache, Vitex, Fruit Trees, Peaches, Apples, Plums, Pomegranites


What To Plant
Bareroot or containerized roses
