Myrtus communis 'Compacta'

Dwarf Myrtle

As with most dwarf varieties, this version is both smaller and slower growing. As such it can easily be maintained at 3’ and is useful for when you want to fill tight spaces and do minimal pruning or maintenance. Often pruned into balls or boxes, it looks great when pruned only once or twice a year and left to grow naturally.
