Hedgehog Cactus have some of the most brilliant flowers of the cactus family. The flowers can be 3 in or more in diameter and feature spiny floral tubes. Native habitat for this large group of cactus (nearly 50 species) ranges from South Dakota, USA through most of Mexico inhabiting a wide range of habitats.
