Cereus repandus

Peruvian Apple Cactus

A large, shrubby, tree-like cactus with many columnar like stems and a classic organ pipe shape. Stems are gray-green to blur-green. Spectacular nocturnal flowers are white with reddish tips and are up to 6 in in diameter. They can appear from late spring through early fall. Flowers remain open for only one night and are followed up with bright red, egg shaped edible fruit.
