A small medium sized perennial shrub with numerous large, apricot-orange flowers in wand-like clusters on tall, weak stems. Broad gray leaves make the bright orange flowers even more vibrant. A desert native, it is very drought tolerant, but performs best when offered regular water in summer heat.
