Afghan (Mondell) Pine is prized for its upright symmetrical growth habit. Great specimen tree or in groups as a windbreak. Surface roots are not invasive. Thrives in heat and little water. Tolerant of most soil types. Can be used as a Christmas tree. Gives off mild fragrant scent.
