This diverse plant can be many things, including a loose or well hedged flowering shrub. If it gets out of hand just cut it back during the warm season and start over. Once established is very resilient, but, care should be taken when initially transplanting as roots are easily damaged. Frost sensitive but it is rare for a freeze to actually kill the plant.
