A large tree aloe that is a cross between Aloe barberae and Aloe dichotoma. As a result it experiences hybrid vigor and can grow to very large sizes. Flowers are rare, but can appear any time from spring to fall. There are a few similar aloes available in the trade, but a true Hercules aloe is a rare find and can grow much larger. Plant in morning sun and avoid reflected heat or western exposure. Keep it dry in cold weather.
