An incredibly showy large shrub or small tree. Two-toned three inch long leaves that are deep-green on top and vibrant purple lilac on the underside are sure to catch your eye. Add to that, purple stems and leaf veins and it practically glows. It likes full sun and regular watering, but can be quite drought tolerant once established.
